Where can a man get his hands on some good wood for smoking? Apple, Hickory, Cherry, etc, etc..... I would like to get some to have for future smoking. If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks in advance

If you know anyone with some wooded land you should be able to find some Hickory. Hickory is all I usually use for smoking. I know you can buy the different wood chips but thats just not the same.

Not a tremendous amount, just enough to smoke a few times this summer. Stripes got a hold of me and is bringing me some hickory today so I may be good. Thanks, if I end up needing somemore I will bring the thread back up. If anyone has some Cherry or Apple I would be interested in that as well.

I have several old apple trees you can cut down and have for free if you want them!
